QSite v2.0 Enhancement Specifications
(Initial Release date: May 1, 2003)

The table below specifies the QSite v2.0 enhancements that are above and beyond the previous release (v1.2). The specified enhancements include all newly implemented features developed under:
  • Government Development contracts, and
  • Government/Commercial Client Maintenance/Support contracts.

  • Extensive modification to stored procedures for DB generality
  • Added Field Mapping concept – PKey/FKey
    • Improved data retrieval by a factor of 5.
    • Improved dynamic creation of Views SQL syntax.
    • Eliminated the need for customized stored procedures
  • Extensive maintenance and support enhancements

QLnk OCX

  • Enhanced to include entity links and general field links

  • Allows for user defined folder structures
  • Files supported include: *.doc, *.xls, *pdf, *.html

Inventory Module

  • Direct storage of the following linked items in the Inventory Table for 5x data retrieval as compared to prior versions, eliminating the need for User-Created Stored Procedures
    • Primary Custodian
    • Secondary Custodian
    • Inventory Location
    • Inventory Type
    • Inventory Classification

Site Module

  • Direct storage of the following linked items in the Site Table for 5x data retrieval as compared to prior versions, eliminating the need for User-Created Stored Procedures
    • Areas

Reports

  • HTML-based Reports for the following entities
    • Frequencies
    • Leases
    • Circuits
    • Inventory
    • Sites

MapPoint 2002

  • Integrated MapPoint 2002 for automatic update of Site (Push-Pin) locations as a result of Lat/Long edits

Notes:

  • Software patches for individual applications are released as necessary.
  • Client specific enhancements that fall outside the software subscription contract can be implemented via an individual software enhancement contract.
